Park Policies & Guest Information

Welcome to Mountain View RV Park and Restaurant. These policies are part of your reservation agreement. They exist to keep the park safe, quiet, and clean so that every guest can relax and enjoy their stay. Please take a few minutes to read them, and ask us anything at the office — we are glad to help.

Late check-out may be available on request and subject to availability. Please ask at the office before 11:00 a.m.
Arriving after office hours? Let us know in advance and we will place your site assignment and instructions in the box at the front of the office/restaurant
We reserve the right to change a site assignment for a like-site when operations require it unless you have paid a lock fee

RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS & CANCELLATIONS

Reservations are accepted year-round at www.mountainviewarco.com or by calling 208-643-7379.

Rates & Taxes

Rates are per site, per night, and include two adults. Applicable Idaho state and local taxes are added at booking.
Rates are subject to change. The rate confirmed on your reservation is the rate you pay and will not be adjusted.

Deposits

A deposit equal to your full cost of the stay is collected at the time of reservation

Cancellations

7 or more days before arrival: your deposit is refunded, less a $15.00 handling fee per site reserved
Fewer than 7 days before arrival: the full deposit is forfeited
No-show: the full deposit is forfeited and the site is released
Early departure: nights already reserved are not refunded

Cancellations must be made in person, by phone or by email to the office. A cancellation is effective when the office confirms it, not when the message is sent.

Travel Insurance

Plans change, and weather in this part of Idaho changes faster. Reasonably priced travel insurance is available for purchase at checkout when you book your stay. It can cover cancellations for reasons our policy does not, and we recommend it for guests booking well ahead or traveling long distances. Coverage terms are set by the insurance provider, not by the park.

SITE OCCUPANCY & GUESTS

Maximum eight (8) people per site, including children.
Each reservation includes two (2) adults. Additional adults are $10.00 each per night. Children ages 9 through 17 are $5.00 each per night. Children ages 8 and under stay free.
Day visitors must check in at the office on arrival and park in the designated visitor area. Visitors are welcome until 10:00 p.m. The registered guest is responsible for the conduct of their visitors and for any charges they incur.
Sites may not be sublet, transferred, or occupied by anyone other than the registered guest and their party.

PARKING & VEHICLES

One RV and one vehicle per site. Please inquire at the office for additional free parking for you or your guests.
Speed limit throughout the park is 5 mph. Children and pets are underfoot everywhere here — please drive like it.
Parking or driving on the grass is strictly prohibited and guests will be charged for any damage occurred.
Do not park on vacant sites, on roadways, or in a way that blocks another guest, a pedestal, or emergency access.
Only licensed drivers may operate any motor vehicle in the park, including golf carts and UTVs.
ATVs, UTVs, dirt bikes, and off-road vehicles may be loaded, unloaded, and driven directly in or out of the park only. They may not be operated recreationally within the park.
E-bikes, scooters, and bicycles are welcome. Please observe the speed limit and yield to pedestrians.
Please refrain from washing, rinsing, repairing, or changing the oil of any RV, vehicle, trailer, motorcycle, or boat while on the premises

Restrooms, Showers, and Laundry

From May 1st to October 15th the park restrooms, showers and laundry room is open for your use.
Laundry supplies are available for sale in the office
We provide a coin machine inside the laundry room for your convenience.
Showers cost $2.00 for 16 minutes of usage and body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided at no additional cost
Codes to the Restrooms, Showers and Laundry are sent via e-mail on your day of arrival or are available in the office

QUIET HOURS & GUEST CONDUCT

Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Please keep voices, music, televisions, and vehicle noise down during these hours.
Amplified music and portable speakers audible beyond your own site are not permitted at any time.
The use of generators is not permitted.
Drones may not be flown over the park, the restaurant, or any occupied site.
Please treat our staff and your fellow guests with courtesy. Abusive, threatening, or disruptive behavior is grounds for removal from the park.
Solicitation, commercial activity, and yard or estate sales are not permitted

YOUR SITE

Please keep all personal property stored within your vehicles and keep your site clear of clutter and debris. This includes cigarette butts.
Mats and rugs are not permitted on the grass. Breathable mats on gravel or patio areas are fine.
Clotheslines and drying racks are not permitted. Please do not hang laundry from your vehicle, fences, trees, or any structure in the park.
Tents, screen rooms, canopies, and other free-standing structures are not permitted. Awnings and screen rooms that attach directly to your RV are welcome.
Please respect the landscaping and natural surroundings. Do not cut, trim, or hang anything from trees, and do not stake or dig into any site.
RVs must be in good repair, road-ready, and presentable. Mountain View RV Park is not a residential park, and sites may not be used as a permanent residence

UTILITIES & HOOKUPS

Maintain a positive sewer seal at both ends of your sewer hose. A sewer donut or threaded connection at the park end is required.
Draining gray or black water onto the ground is prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the park.
A surge protector is strongly recommended. The park is not responsible for damage to RV electrical systems.
Do not tamper with, modify, or share pedestals, water risers, or any park utility connection.
In freezing conditions, a heated water hose and heat tape are required. Please disconnect and drain hoses when a hard freeze is forecast.
Please conserve water. Report any leak, drip, or running toilet to the office right away.
Our sites have sprinkler system valves on the same pedestal as the water valve, they are clearly marked but please do NOT turn on the sprinklers as you connect to the water valve!

FIRES, GRILLS & SMOKING

No open fires — wood or charcoal — and no fireworks anywhere in the park.
Propane and electric barbecue grills may be used. Portable propane fire pits are permitted, must never be left unattended, and must be extinguished by quiet hours. Propane fire pits are available for rent from the office.
Never leave any flame or heat source unattended. Grills must be a safe distance from your RV, awning, and neighboring sites.
Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside all park buildings. Outdoors, please smoke only at your own site and dispose of butts in a container — never on the ground.
Marijuana is illegal in the State of Idaho, including for medical use, and is not permitted anywhere on the property.

ALCOHOL

Guests of legal age may enjoy alcohol at their own site.
L7 Grill and Taphouse operates under its own liquor license. Alcohol purchased elsewhere may not be brought into the restaurant or bar.

TRASH

Please deposit your trash in tied bags into the dumpsters (one at the north end of the park, one at the south end)
The dumpster is for household trash only. Furniture, appliances, tires, propane tanks, batteries, construction debris, and RV waste of any kind are not permitted.

CHILDREN

Your child’s conduct is your responsibility.
Children may not play in the laundry or bath facilities and may not be left unattended anywhere in the park, including the game area and the dog run.
Children must observe quiet hours along with everyone else.

FOR OUR GUESTS WITH PETS

We love your dogs and cats — and we ask a few things in return.

Pets must be kept on a leash no longer than six (6) feet, under your supervision and control, at all times.
Do not leave your pets outside unattended, and do not leave a pet in your RV if it barks or howls.
Pens, fences, exercise enclosures, and kennels are not permitted at your site.
When they POOP, you SCOOP. This applies everywhere, including the dog run. Repeat violations are grounds for removal.
Pets are to be kept quiet and inside your RV during quiet hours.
Pets are not permitted inside park buildings.
Aggressive dogs are not allowed under any circumstance. Any pet that bites, lunges, or threatens a person or another animal must leave the park immediately.
A maximum of three pets per site. Pets must be currently vaccinated and licensed as required by law.
You are responsible for any damage or injury caused by your pet.

SERVICE ANIMALS

Service animals are welcome anywhere guests are permitted, including all park buildings, and are not subject to our pet rules or pet limits. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, a service animal is a dog individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. We will not ask for documentation.

A service animal must be under its handler’s control and housebroken. An animal that is out of control, or that is not housebroken, may be asked to leave.

Emotional support, comfort, and therapy animals are not service animals under the ADA. They are welcome as pets, under our pet policy above.

PARK BUILDINGS & FACILITIES

Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside any building in the park.
A 24-hour laundry facility is provided for your convenience. Please remove your laundry promptly. The park is not responsible for items left in the machines.
Please help us keep the restrooms and showers clean for the next guest.
The dog run, game area, laundry, and shower facilities are used at your own risk.
Mail and packages: we do not accept mail or deliveries on behalf of guests unless arranged in advance with the office.

WI-FI

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the park. Enhanced Wi-Fi, with greater speed and bandwidth, is available for purchase — ask at the office.
Wi-Fi is provided as a convenience. Speed and availability are not guaranteed and depend on weather, park occupancy, and factors outside our control.
Illegal downloading, streaming of pirated content, and any unlawful use of the network are prohibited and will result in loss of access.

SAFETY & EMERGENCIES

In any emergency, dial 911 first, then notify the office.
If you smell propane, shut off the tank, leave the RV, and call the office immediately.
In severe weather, wildfire smoke, or an evacuation notice, follow the direction of park staff and local authorities. Emergency information will be posted at the office.
Report any accident, injury, or property damage to the office the same day it occurs.

GENERAL PROVISIONS

Enforcement

Mountain View RV Park reserves the right to refuse service and to require any guest, visitor, or pet to leave the property for violation of these policies, for conduct that endangers or disturbs others, or for non-payment. No refund is issued when a guest is required to leave for cause.

Liability

Mountain View RV Park and Restaurant, Next Adventure Holdings, LLC, and their staff are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to any RV, vehicle, or personal property, or for injury to any person or pet, however caused. Guests use the park and all of its facilities at their own risk and are responsible for their own insurance.

Changes

These policies may be amended at any time. The current version is available at the office and provided at check-in.

Severability

If any provision of these policies is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.

EXTENDED STAY GUESTS (OVER 28 DAYS)

Stays longer than 28 consecutive days are extended stays and are arranged through the office.

All park policies apply. Every rule in this document — quiet hours, speed limit, pets, parking, site appearance, utilities, fires and grills, trash, and conduct — applies to extended stay guests exactly as it applies to overnight guests.

Term. Extended stays are month-to-month. Either the guest or the park may end the stay with thirty (30) days' written notice.

Deposit. A deposit is required to reserve an extended stay and is non-refundable. For extended stays booked more than two weeks in advance, the deposit is $200. For extended stays booked within two weeks of arrival, the deposit is the full monthly rate for that month. Deposits are applied toward your first month's charges.

Payment. Your site fee is due every 30 days, in advance, for the coming 30-day period. Your first payment is due at check-in, and each payment after that falls on the same day of your billing cycle. Power for the preceding period is metered and billed to you at the same time, so each payment covers the month ahead plus the power you used in the month behind. A late fee of $25 applies to any payment not received within 5 days of the due date. Balances remaining unpaid after that accrue interest at an annual rate of 10%, calculated daily until paid in full.

Power. Electricity is separately metered and is billed at the park's cost, in addition to your site fee. Your meter is read at the end of each 30-day period and the charge appears on your next payment. Tampering with, bypassing, or sharing a meter or pedestal ends your stay immediately.

Freeze protection is your responsibility. From October through April, and any time freezing temperatures are forecast, you are responsible for protecting your water connection. A heated water hose and heat tape are required. The park will install heat tape and blankets on the water stanchions. Keep your water bay and exposed plumbing insulated and heated. We may disconnect water service to a site that is not adequately protected.

Winterizing your RV is your responsibility. You are responsible for properly winterizing your RV, for maintaining heat inside it — including while you are away — and for any damage caused by frozen or burst lines, tanks, valves, or fittings. The park is not responsible for freeze damage to your RV or property. You are responsible for damage to your RV or connections caused to park water risers, pedestals, sewer connections, or meters. Please tell the office before leaving your RV unattended for more than a week in winter, and leave us a contact who can respond.

Site cleanliness. Your site must be kept clean, orderly, and free of clutter at all times. Personal property must be stored inside your RV or tow vehicle. Storage containers, sheds, spare parts, tires, appliances, building materials, and accumulated belongings are not permitted. Your RV must remain road-ready, licensed, insured, and presentable. We inspect sites periodically and will ask you to correct anything that falls short.

You are a guest, not a resident. An extended stay does not create a residency, tenancy, or lease. Mountain View RV Park is a recreational vehicle park. Sites are not residential lots and may not be used as a permanent or primary residence.

Mail and shipments. You may have packages delivered to the park during your stay. Delivery is a courtesy and entirely at your own risk — the park does not sign for, secure, insure, or accept responsibility for any item delivered, lost, damaged, stolen, or refused. The park's address may not be used as your mailing address, address of record, or address for any registration,

license, benefit, legal, or official purpose.
